Acidic silicone adhesive

DESCRIPTION

Bond wood, concrete, brick, metal, ceramics and plaster

A high strength, fast setting bonding adhesive with gap filling properties. Adheres to virtually all common building surfaces and can be used internally or externally. Replaces nails and screws in a multitude of applications, on rough or smooth surfaces.

USES

Can be used to fix skirting boards, stair nosings, decorative wall panelling, door surrounds, timber cladding, floor boards, timber framework, worktops, floor grippers, door plates, brick cladding,veneer, mouldings, ceramics, plasterboard, cork, laminates and automotive trims.

Directions Of Use

Cut the cartridge seal and screw on the nozzle, which should be cut to your required size. Panel application - Apply the adhesive in 6mm beads, 5 cm from the edge and approximately 20-40 cm apart.

Immediately press the panel firmly to the wall. Some support may be necessary for up to 24 hours. Stair nosings - Apply the adhesive in 6mm diameter beads to the nosings only. Small stair nosings will

require two beads; larger stair nosings require three beads.Immediately press nosings into position and allow a drying period of

24 hours before subjecting to traffic. Battens, skirting and otherapplications - Apply the adhesive equally in stripes, 20 cm apart. Putthe material in place, hold and move slightly, applying an even

pressure, then press firmly into place. Some support may benecessary for up to 24 hours.

Limitations

Not suitable for PE, PP, PC, PMMA, PTFE, soft plastics, neoprene and bituminous substrates

Surface Preparations and Finishing

All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust, grease and other loose material and should be resistant towards the solvent in the adhesive. Adhesion tests prior to application are recommended.

Porous surfaces such as plasterboard should be primed with a PVA primer and allowed to dry thoroughly.

Cleaning

Uncured material, tools and hands can be cleaned with Multi- Purpose Cleaning Wipes. Cured material can only be mechanically removed.

PACKAGING INFORMATION

Shelf Life

In unopened original packaging between +5°C and +25°C, shelf life is up to 18 months from production date, stored in a dry place.
